Job description
We're seeking an experienced Home Infusion Pharmacist for a direct-hire opportunity with a leading specialty infusion pharmacy in Syracuse, NY!
Details:
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (potential on-call rotation)
Start: ASAP
Type: Direct Hire/Permanent
System: CareTend
Responsibilities: Prepare and dispense IV and specialty medications using sterile compounding techniques
Monitor labs, pharmacokinetic dosing, TPN, and medication therapies
Provide patient and caregiver education on infusion therapy and home administration
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy teams to coordinate patient care
Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy, healthcare, and regulatory standards
Manage inventory and coordinate medication and supply shipments
Requirements: 2+ years of infusion specialty pharmacy experience
Current, active NY Pharmacist license in good standing
Experience with specialty therapy payer requirements and reimbursement processes
IVIg experience is a plus
