Job description
Oversee critical pharmacy operations specializing in home infusion therapies as a Pharmacy Manager in Los Angeles, CA. This direct hire opportunity requires a dynamic leader ready to manage daily functions, lead sterile compounding processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards within a home infusion setting.
Schedule & Location:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Schedule flexibility required, including administrative on-call duties
Based in Los Angeles, CA
Key Responsibilities: Direct pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control
Lead, mentor, and manage pharmacists and technicians with responsibilities including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and on-call scheduling
Ensure compliance with all state pharmacy laws and USP compounding guidelines to maintain high-quality standards
Collaborate clinically with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and outcomes in home infusion therapies
Participate in budgeting, workflow optimization, and continuous performance improvement initiatives for the branch
Qualifications & Desired Experience: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in California
3 to 7 years of clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings
Strong knowledge of IV admixture services and regulatory accreditation
Proven leadership abilities managing pharmacy teams
Experience with CareTend pharmacy system is highly preferred
