Located just north of Pittsburgh, it is the largest suburban school district in Allegheny County with over 8,500 students.
We are looking for a Homebound Instructor to provide instruction to a high school student. The main subject will be Functional Academics. The instructor must have a Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification for high school.
Assignment Details
The position will be for the duration of the School Year starting as soon as possible
5 hours per week
Instruction will be conducted on a mutually agreed upon schedule, likely during the school day
Instruction will be conducted either virtually or in the student's home.
To work within a Pennsylvania Public School, the following clearances are also required :
Act 34 - PA Criminal History
Act 114 - FBI Fingerprinting
Act 126/31 - Mandated Reporter Training
Act 151 - Child Abuse History
Act 168 - Sexual Misconduct and Disclosure Form
*If you have already obtained these clearances, they must be within one (1) year of hire date.
