Homecare Registered Nurse - Hospice Travel Assignment in Cordova, TN
Compassionate Registered Nurse needed for a hospice travel assignment in Cordova, Tennessee . Duration: 12 weeks
Hours per Week: 40
Shift Duration: 8 hours
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
Coverage Areas: Shelby, Fayette, and Tipton County
Weekend / On-Call Requirement: None
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Job Requirements Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
At least 1 year of nursing experience required
Hospice experience strongly preferred
Home care or home health documentation experience preferred
Experience with HCHB preferred
Associate degree in nursing or higher
Ability to work independently and manage a patient caseload in the home setting
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
Responsibilities Manage a caseload of hospice patients in their homes and community settings
Provide skilled nursing care with a focus on comfort, dignity, and quality of life
Perform and support nursing procedures such as catheter placement, PleurX drain care, wound care, and trach care
Complete timely assessments, documentation, and care coordination
Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team to support individualized hospice plans
Travel between patient visits throughout the assigned coverage area
Deliver compassionate education and support to patients and families
