Travel Registered Nurse - Homecare | Newburgh, NY

Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
Setting: Homecare / Home Health Nursing
Location: Newburgh, NY (Orange County)
Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
On-Call / Weekend Requirement: 1 weeknight and 1 weekend day (Saturday/Sunday)
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
Start Date: 8/24/2026
Duration: 8 weeks

Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred
CHHA experience required
Homecare Homebase EMR experience required
Experience in home health, community nursing, or clinical support services preferred
Strong ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative team player
Comfortable providing care in a home-based setting
Reliable transportation for travel between patient visits
Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes
Complete patient visits, assessments, and ongoing care coordination
Document clinical findings accurately in the EMR system
Support continuity of care through clear communication with the care team
Manage assigned coverage areas and maintain timely visit schedules
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that supports independence and recovery
Follow homecare best practices and uphold professional nursing standards
