Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Assignment | Amherst, NY

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a home health team serving the Amherst area. Coverage Area: Erie County, New York
Schedule: Daytime schedule
Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Shifts per Week: Based on a 40-hour workweek
On-Call/Weekend Requirement: One week per month, Friday to Friday
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
Start Date: 09/14/2026
Contract Duration: 14 weeks

Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred; home health experience strongly preferred
Associate degree in Nursing or higher
Professional certification required
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in a home care environment
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Experience with wound care and IV management is highly desirable
Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes
Perform wound care, IV management, and other ordered nursing interventions
Deliver patient and family education to support safe care at home
Assess patient conditions, monitor progress, and report changes as needed
Coordinate care within the home health team to help ensure quality outcomes
Document visits accurately and maintain timely clinical records
Travel within the assigned coverage area to complete patient visits
Follow established care plans while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence
