Job description
Job TitleDuties:Prepares meals and buys groceries if neededProvides verbal medication reminders consistent with state regulations.Performs light housekeeping which includes dusting, vacuuming, cleaning the kitchen, organizing closets, changing linens and making beds, doing light laundry and ironing.Does errands and provides transportation which may include grocery and clothes shopping, picking up prescriptions, going to doctor's appointments, driving to the beauty parlor or barber shop, going to the gym, dining out for lunch or dinner, driving to family outings, handling dry cleaning, buying stamps and mailing packages and attending church services.Completes documentation of services per agency or client requirements.Additional responsibilities as assigned.Requirements:Driver's licenseSocial SecurityWork PermitReliable transportation - Own CarLevel 2 live-scan criminal background check required* Sincere desire to help seniorsAbout Assisting Hands Home Care Assisting Hands® Home Care provides compassionate, dependable in-home care that helps individuals remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.
