As part of the EveryAge family, you'll play a vital role in enriching the daily lives of older adults through meaningful service and personal connections.Position SummaryThe Homemaker is a multi-skilled team member responsible for supporting resident well-being through a combination of dining services, housekeeping, laundry, and engagement activities. This position helps create a comfortable, clean, and inviting household environment while promoting residents' independence, dignity, and quality of life. The Homemaker serves resident meals and refreshments, maintains household cleanliness, assists with laundry services, and contributes to resident-centered activities that foster community and engagement.Essential ResponsibilitiesPerform housekeeping duties to maintain clean, sanitary, and organized resident living areas and common spaces.Complete laundry tasks to ensure residents have clean clothing, linens, and personal items.Support and participate in household activities and events that promote resident engagement and social interaction.Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation guidelines in all aspects of work.Foster positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and team members.Assist in creating a warm, welcoming household atmosphere that reflects Piedmont Crossing's commitment to exceptional resident care.Operate housekeeping and laundry equipment safely and effectively.Use cleaning products and supplies appropriately according to established procedures.Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or GED preferred but not required.Minimum ExperienceExperience in skilled nursing, assisted living, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or residential services for older adults preferred.At Piedmont Crossing, you'll be part of a dedicated team focused on providing exceptional care and meaningful experiences for residents every day.
