We're seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and hard-working individuals to become our Ambassadors. Come and play an important part on our incredible team today!What You Get To Do:You'll help grow and maintain our beautiful park grounds. This involves performing a variety of ground maintenance duties, including mowing, trimming, watering, weeding, planting, pruning, and container maintenance with an early morning schedule. You will also:Maintain cleanliness and quality of work areaMaintain accurate records of activities performedProvide excellent service to guests and AmbassadorsOperate park vehiclesCommunicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our GuestsPerform other duties as assigned.Occasionally assist other locations and areas in the park as needed.What It Takes To Succeed:Basic plant or landscape knowledgeValid driver's license and ability to obtain a SeaWorld driver's license preferredAt least 18 years oldExcellent English communication skillsBasic operational knowledge of both power and hand toolsAbility to lift, pull, and push a minimum of 50 lbs.Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time in extreme weather conditionsScheduling flexibility - be able to work 6:00 AM to 2:30 PMAbility to work well independently and as part of a teamStrong multi-tasking abilitiesAvailability:Shifts start as early as 6amYou must be able to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidaysMinimum of 3 days a weekHours may fluctuate based on business need; may be scheduled up to 29 hours weekly.Compensation:16.90 per hourStarting Base Pay:The perks of the position: Ambassadors will enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment, and great teammates, as well as:FREE park admissionDiscounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friendsPark discounts on food, merchandise, etc.Scholarship opportunitiesExclusive employee events and giveawaysEEO Employer:SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
