Certified Nurse AssistantAs a Certified Nurse Assistant with Corus Health in Albuquerque, you'll provide hands-on hospice care to residents of Laguna Rainbow Elder Care Center, bringing dignity, comfort, and steady support to patients and families during one of life's most meaningful chapters. This role is a great fit for CNAs who live near Laguna Rainbow and want consistent, community-based work close to home.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide personal care services in accordance with each patient's plan of care, under the supervision of a licensed nurseAssist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and feedingMeasure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressureObserve and promptly report changes in patient condition or care needs to supervising staffAssist with ambulation, transfers, and positioning to promote comfort and safetyMaintain accurate documentation of care provided in the EMRProvide emotional support and companionship to patients and their familiesRequirementsCurrent certification as a Nurse Aide in the state of New MexicoCompletion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training programAt least one year of experience preferred; hospice or home health experience a plusSomeone who brings compassion, patience, and steadiness to every interactionStrong communication skills with patients, families, and care teamsReliable transportation and a valid driver's licenseCNAs living near Laguna Rainbow Elder Care Center are especially encouraged to applyWhy Join UsAt Corus Health, hospice care means walking alongside patients and families with steadiness, clarity, and courage.
