Job description
Share your gift of time with a hospice patient during their end-of-life journey. No special skills are needed - just a willing, listening ear and an open heart. It may be the most rewarding time you'll spend.
Here at Miracle City Hospice, we value providing hospice care that reflects our priorities - that no one should die alone. We know that not all patients have someone who can be there during every moment, and some families may want someone from the hospice team to be present. This is why we train a special team of volunteers to help keep vigil and provide a presence at the patient's bedside for them and their families peace of mind. If you desire to volunteer with us, to be someone that our families and patients can see as someone they can share a kind word with, hold their hand when the time comes, and help out when you can, you may be a great fit for this opportunity!
