Job description
Massage TherapistCoordinates, evaluates and provides massage therapy to patients receiving hospice care.Responsibilities:Develops, coordinates and provides an organized massage therapy program.Provides massage therapy in alignment with the needs of the patient and physical limitations.Obtains orders from physician and develops a plan of care.Completes all documentation as required by the organization in compliance with legal, government, and accreditation requirements.Participates in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement Activities.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications Required:Certified massage therapist from an established massage therapy institute.Licensed driver with reliable automobile which is insured in accordance with state law.Amedisys is an equal opportunity employer.
