Growing together.As the Home and Community Bases Services Aide, you will provide support, assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for an individual to be able to remain in their own home.Primary Responsibilities:Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication remindersSupport household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as neededMonitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV systemEnsure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needsAbility to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the clientYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualification:Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportationHome Health Aide-Must have a minimum of one-(1) year full-time experience in direct client care in hospital or nursing facility, OR one (1) year full- time experience within last five (5) years in direct client care in agency setting, OR documented completion of training and competency evaluation program with home health experience within the last twenty-four (24) months, OR documented completion of competency evaluation program with home health experience within the last twenty-four (24) months, OR nursing student with documentation from director of programs or the dean of a school of nursing that states that the individual is a nursing student who has demonstrated competency in basic nursing skills aligned with the school's curriculumOR be on Texas Department of Human Services (DHS's) Nurse Aide Registry with no findings of client abuse or neglect or misappropriation of client property. Must NOT be listed on the Employee Misconduct RegistryPreferred Qualification:Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire6+ months of home care experienceAbility to work flexible hours and independentlyPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.75 to $25.10 per hour based on full-time employment.
