Join the many other professionals who are providing passionate end-of-life care to many terminally ill patients in the Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania area.We focus on skilled and compassionate care while providing comfort and freedom from pain, and as much independence and control as possible.Serenity Hospice is looking for a Hospice Aides to provide services in the Allentown area. Join a growing dynamic team of health care providers focused on preserving the health and quality of life for the patients in our hospice program.Highly competitive pay, with plenty of hours! We also have evening and weekend hours available. We offer direct deposit payments and reimburse for your mileage as well!Your responsibilities:Work under the supervision of a registered nurse and perform various services for your patient as necessary to meet his or her personal needs and promote comfortResponsible for observing the patient and reporting these observationsPromote quality, continuity and safety of your patient's careCertified nursing assistant dutiesRequired skills and qualifications:Licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirementsOne year of previous experience working in the healthcare industryUnderstanding of hospice philosophy and ability to comfortably provide specialized care to the terminally illValid CNA and/or HHA CertificationGreat work environment.
