We are currently seeking a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and serve patients living in the Cache Valley area.As a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (YOU MUST BE CERTIFIED FOR THIS POSITION) at Sunshine Home Health and Hospice, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to terminally ill patients. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients are comfortable, safe, and receive the highest quality of care during their final journey. If you are a compassionate and dedicated individual with a desire to provide comfort and support to those in need, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:Provide compassionate and patient-centered care to hospice patients in their homes or in our hospice facility.Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.Administer medications and treatments as directed by the hospice nurse or medical team.Monitor and report changes in patient condition, symptoms, and vital signs.Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients.Collaborate with the hospice care team to develop and implement care plans.Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.Qualifications:Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Utah.CPR and First Aid certification.High school diploma or equivalent.Must have a valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation.Ability to work with a diverse team in a dynamic, emotionally charged environment.Previous experience in hospice care or a healthcare setting is a plus.Benefits:Competitive compensationOngoing training and developmentSupportive work environmentIf you are a caring and dedicated Hospice Nurse's Aide or CNA looking to be part of a team that provides exceptional care, please submit your application and resume.
