HIGHLIGHTS
Outpatient-focused Palliative Medicine practice with opportunity for periods on our inpatient consultation service
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated strong emphasis on oncology and cancer-focused palliative care
Join a collaborative team of 8 Palliative Medicine physicians and 4 APPs
Teach and mentor two Hospice & Palliative Medicine fellows annually
No in-house call with a shared remote call rotation
Practice at the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center, the only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in Western North Carolina
Collaborate within the renowned J. Paul Sticht Center on Healthy Aging and Alzheimer's Prevention, offering opportunities for academic engagement, research, and interdisciplinary collaboration
EPIC EMR
Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature

TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Graduation from an accredited medical school (M.D./D.O.).
Completion of an accredited residency program and board certified in residency.
Completion of a Palliative Medicine fellowship at an ACGME-accredited institution.
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Palliative Medicine
Current or eligible for North Carolina Medical License
Current DEA and DPS registration for prescription writing
