Hospice ReceptionistJoin University Home Care Inc as a Hospice Receptionist in our Intake Department located in Livonia, MI. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and families seeking hospice services, providing compassionate and professional support to ensure a smooth intake process. Your efforts will help facilitate timely and efficient care coordination that upholds the values and mission of our organization.ResponsibilitiesAnswer incoming calls and respond to inquiries regarding hospice services.Coordinate and schedule patient intake appointments accurately and efficiently.Maintain detailed and confidential patient records in compliance with company policies and regulations.Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support patient admissions and communication.Provide compassionate support to patients and families throughout the intake process.Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing correspondence related to intake.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or healthcare support role preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach.Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new software applications.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.BenefitsCompetitive compensation of $20.00 - $30.00 per week, paid semi-monthly.Opportunities for professional growth and development within the healthcare industry.Supportive and collaborative work environment focused on compassionate care.Health and wellness benefits available (subject to eligibility requirements).About the CompanyUniversity Home Care Inc is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate hospice care to patients and families in the Livonia, MI area.
