Summary
We are hiring a Hospice Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, permanent opportunity in Denton County, TX . This role is ideal for compassionate RNs who are passionate about guiding patients and families through the hospice admission process while ensuring a smooth transition into hospice care.

Salary
$85,000 – $95,000 annually
Additional Compensation
Mileage Reimbursement: $0.65 per mile
Cell Phone Reimbursement: $60/month
Schedule
Full-Time
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
On-call rotation required
Travel throughout assigned territory
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and assess patients to determine hospice eligibility.
Guide patients and families through the hospice admission process with compassion and professionalism.
Develop individualized plans of care for newly admitted patients.
Coordinate patient transitions with the interdisciplinary hospice team.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with hospice standards.
Participate in limited on-call responsibilities.
Support additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Minimum 1 year of Hospice or Senior Care experience.
Strong knowledge of hospice philosophy, eligibility requirements, and end-of-life care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Successful background check and professional references.
