Miracle City Hospice is hiring a RN Admissions Nurse to support Broadview Heights and surrounding counties Come join our compassionate growing team of professional clinicians who make a difference in the lives of patients and families facing end of life journey

Shift Information 4 10 hour shifts 9a 7p during the week Monday through Friday

What Youll Do
Perform pre admission evaluations for the appropriateness of services
Initiates the admission process by educating and informing patientsfamilies of its services
Obtains informed consent
Provides nursing assessment initial plan of care and interventions that optimize patient and family directed comfort and quality of life
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice
Must possess current CPR Certification
1 year of Hospice experience preferred
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients family members visitors agency personnel and the general public
Must be knowledgeable of quality assessment and assurance procedures
