Job description
For over 125 years, Calvary Hospital and Calvary @Home located in the Bronx, New York has been dedicated to the palliative care of advanced cancer and other terminally ill patients and their families. Through a caring, compassionate, philosophy of non-abandonment, the hospice provides a full spectrum of palliative services, including emotional, spiritual, and physical care. The hospice receives patients from referring institutions throughout New York City and the entire tristate area. n nRequirements
nAssists in the planning, implementation, documentation and coordination of patient care services to Hospice patients and their families.
nLocation : Westchester
nHours: 9am - 5pm
nSalary: $113,576.52 - $140,076.61/annually
nQualifications:
nnnCurrent New York State Registered Nurse License/Permit.
n
nnTwo (2) years experience in nursing which includes any combination of medical-surgical, oncological, palliative and community home health/hospice.
n
nnAt least one (1) year of community hospice or home health experience is preferred.
n
nnHospice experience preferred.
n
nnNYS driver’s license preferred.
n
n nEducation:
nnBSN from an accredited school is Preferred.
n nCOVID-19 vaccination is strongly encouraged for all new hires prior to beginning employment at Calvary Hospital.
