Anesthesia Technician Job Details
Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,220-$1,310
Location: Largo, Florida
Healthcare Setting: Hospital-based, on-site operating room
Start Date: September 22, 2026
Assignment Length: 13 weeks, through December 22, 2026
Schedule: Day shifts, 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; listed as 12-hour day shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekend and Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff

Anesthesia Technician Job Requirements At least 1 year of experience as an Anesthesia Technician, Anesthesia Tech, or in a comparable perioperative support role
Anesthesia Technician certification or equivalent demonstrated training and experience
Working knowledge of anesthesia equipment, supplies, operating room procedures, and perioperative safety standards
Ability to maintain a safe, organized, and well-stocked anesthesia workspace
Ability to work scheduled day shifts along with rotating weekends and holidays
Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and attention to detail
Anesthesia Technician Responsibilities Prepare anesthesia machines, carts, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures
Assist anesthesia providers with operating room setup and the availability of required medications and supplies
Inspect, clean, restock, and maintain anesthesia equipment according to established safety procedures
Support operating room turnover and help ensure timely readiness between procedures
Identify equipment or supply concerns and communicate issues promptly to the appropriate clinical team members
Follow hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and operating room safety protocols
Collaborate with nurses, anesthesia providers, surgeons, and other perioperative professionals to promote efficient patient care
