Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Mid shift, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Shift Duration: 8 hours
Weekly Hours: 40
Estimated Weekly Pay: $550 - $590
Orientation: Initial onboarding includes temporary first-shift training for the first three weeks to help you become familiar with the unit
Job Requirements Minimum of 1 year of combined experience in a specialty or hospital support setting
High school diploma or GED required
Active BLS certification required
Must hold an active permanent Ohio license or compact license at time of submission, if applicable to the role
One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, ANM, or director in the specialty is required
References must be from assignments worked within the past 12 months
Ability to pass required onboarding assessments and compliance screenings
Must be comfortable with physical activity, including lifting, transporting patients, and assisting with room turnover
COVID-19 and influenza vaccination requirements apply, with exemptions only as allowed by policy
Responsibilities Support the surgical team with patient transport and hospital unit assistance
Assist with cleaning and turning over rooms to maintain a safe, efficient clinical environment
Help move heavy items and ensure supplies and equipment are handled appropriately
Provide dependable bedside support and non-clinical patient care assistance
Follow unit procedures and contribute to smooth day-to-day operations in a busy hospital setting
Complete required onboarding, orientation, and compliance steps before start
Maintain professionalism, reliability, and strong communication with patients and clinical staff
