Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Jobs - Adult Medical-Surgical | 12-Hour Night Shift Contract in Everett, MA

CNA Contract Job Details
Weekly Estimated Pay: $810-$870
Location: On-site in Everett, Massachusetts
Setting: Hospital-based adult medical-surgical unit
Start Date: October 20, 2026
End Date: January 16, 2027
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shifts
Schedule: Three shifts per week
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Candidate Requirement: Local candidates only
CNA Job Requirements Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
At least 1 year of CNA experience; adult medical-surgical experience is preferred
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience caring for adult patients in a hospital or acute-care environment
Two current professional references from a charge nurse, supervisor, or manager
Updated resume that clearly accounts for employment gaps
Availability to work required weekends and holidays during the assignment
Ability to float to other assigned areas and provide patient-sitting support when needed
Requested time off should not exceed five days during the contract
Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities Provide compassionate, direct patient care to adults in a hospital-based medical-surgical environment
Assist patients with activities of daily living, hygiene, mobility, repositioning, and comfort measures
Support patients with a variety of needs, including general surgery recovery, respiratory failure, and cellulitis
Work collaboratively with registered nurses and the interdisciplinary care team to promote patient safety and comfort
Monitor and report changes in patient condition or behavior to the appropriate clinical staff
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient-care environment
Float to designated units as needed, including providing patient observation or sitting support
Follow hospital policies, infection-control practices, and established standards of care
