Job description
HousekeeperWe are currently seeking housekeepers in Nashville, TN at $17.50/hr. This will be a temp role with the opportunity to gain full-time employment. Evening/night shifts available.Responsibilities:Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.Ensure all areas are sanitized and meet health and safety regulations.Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.Follow established procedures for cleaning and waste disposal.Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management.Assist in training new housekeeping staff as needed.Uphold HHS's standards of quality and customer service.Physical Requirements:Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shiftPushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shiftMust handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectantsMust be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job.Qualifications:Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles.Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to cleaning practices.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.Familiarity with environmental services and sanitation practices is preferred.Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.Important to Know:Applicants must pass a background check, drug screen, and provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.HHS is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer committed to workplace diversity and inclusion.
