Charlotte Hungerford Hospital
Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is a 122-bed acute care community hospital located in Torrington, Connecticut. As part of Hartford HealthCare, the hospital combines the personalized feel of a community setting with the clinical expertise, technology, and specialty support of a statewide health system.
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join our growing Hospital Medicine team as a Hospitalist .
This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys practicing high-quality inpatient medicine in a collaborative environment while maintaining an outstanding work-life balance.
Position Highlights
Monday-Friday 8-hour shift schedule
Closed ICU with intensivist support
Collaborative, multidisciplinary Hospital Medicine team
Dedicated specialty support from Hartford HealthCare physicians
EPIC electronic medical record across the health system
Strong physician leadership and administrative support

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Eligible to obtain and maintain an unrestricted Connecticut medical license
