Hospital Medicine Physician Job Opening – Coastal South Carolina
A growing hospital medicine program in coastal South Carolina is seeking a hospitalist to join a well-supported inpatient team serving a diverse and expanding patient population. The role includes managing acute and chronic medical conditions, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring smooth transitions throughout the inpatient stay. Responsibilities also include working 12-hour day or night shifts, participating in admissions, and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a modern clinical environment. This position offers a competitive compensation package.
Qualifications
Prior hospital medicine experience preferred
Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Current, unrestricted South Carolina medical license (M.D. or D.O.)
Active state and federal controlled substance registrations
Proficiency in hospital-based procedures consistent with hospitalist practice
Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills
