Travel Occupational Therapist Job - Acute Care Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska

Role: Travel Occupational Therapist
Setting: Hospital / Acute Care Rehab Services
Employment Type: Travel Therapy Job
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
Schedule: 4 days per week with a rotating schedule, including weekends
Weekend Requirement: 2-3 weekends per month
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,920-$2,060
Location: Anchorage, Alaska (99508)
EMR: Epic
Start Date: 9/8/2026
Job Requirements Active Occupational Therapist license or certification required
At least 1 year of acute care or hospital occupational therapy experience required
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment
Must be available for weekend rotation
Alaska state fingerprinting and background clearance must be completed or in provisional status before starting
Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills
Experience with electronic medical records, preferably Epic
Responsibilities Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to acute care patients in a hospital setting
Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
Support patient recovery, functional mobility, and safe discharge planning
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes
Document care accurately and efficiently in the EMR system
Maintain a patient-centered approach while managing a daily caseload in a busy rehab services department
Adapt to rotating weekend coverage and changing patient priorities as needed
