Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) Job - Inpatient Rehabilitation in Chico, California

Overview
This 13-week travel Occupational Therapist job is ideal for a clinician who thrives in an inpatient rehab or acute rehabilitation setting. You will provide hands-on occupational therapy services to patients recovering from stroke (CVA) , traumatic brain injury (TBI) , fractures, and cardiac diagnoses while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Shift: Day shift, 8-hour shifts
Hours: 40 hours per week
Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030-$2,190
Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
Documentation System: EPIC
Employment Type: Travel healthcare job
Job Requirements At least 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required
Active California OT license required
Experience or interest in inpatient rehab / acute rehab preferred
Strong clinical skills working with adult and geriatric patients
Experience treating common rehabilitation diagnoses such as CVA, TBI, fractures, and cardiac conditions preferred
Friendly, flexible, and team-oriented approach
Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic clinical setting
Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of rehabilitation needs in a hospital setting
Develop individualized treatment plans to support functional recovery, independence, and improved quality of life
Provide occupational therapy interventions for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, orthopedic injuries, and other acute conditions
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and the rehab team to support safe and effective discharge planning
Document patient progress accurately and efficiently in EPIC
Maintain a patient-centered approach while delivering high-quality therapy services
