Travel Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Acute Care Hospital - Nashville, TN

Location: Nashville, TN 37203
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 8 hours
Hours Per Week: 40
Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,760 - $1,890
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Travel Occupational Therapist
Job Requirements Current and valid state Occupational Therapist license
BLS certification required
Minimum of 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience required
Previous inpatient acute care experience required
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently while supporting an interdisciplinary care team
Responsibilities Assess patient function and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on physician orders and evaluation findings
Provide skilled OT interventions that support recovery, safety, mobility, and independence in an acute care hospital setting
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning, team conferences, and discharge planning
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques, safe mobility, energy conservation, and equipment use as appropriate
Complete accurate clinical documentation in a timely manner according to department standards
Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and support students or new staff as needed
Promote patient safety, confidentiality, quality improvement, and excellent customer service at all times
Collaborate with team members to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
