Position: Hospital Pharmacist / Clinical Pharmacist
Setting: On-site hospital pharmacy, acute care
Location: Visalia, California 93291
Start Date: 10/12/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Type: Travel assignment
Schedule: Variable 10-hour shifts, including day shifts (7:00 AM-5:00 PM) and mid shifts (1:00 PM-11:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 40
Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
Orientation: 18 hours
Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,240-$3,470
Job Requirements Current California Registered Pharmacist license required
Pharm.D. degree required
At least 1 year of hospital pharmacist or clinical pharmacist experience required
Previous inpatient pharmacy or outpatient pharmacy experience preferred
Ability to work variable shifts and support multiple pharmacy functions in a hospital setting
Strong communication skills, clinical judgment, and attention to detail
Experience with medication review, order validation, and dispensing procedures preferred
Must be comfortable floating as needed across pharmacy areas
Responsibilities Review, validate, and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
Consult with physicians and other care team members to optimize medication therapy and improve patient safety
Support inpatient and outpatient pharmacy workflows as assigned
Respond to medication-related questions from staff, providers, and clinical team members
Prepare compounded medications in accordance with quality and safety standards
Monitor medication therapies and maintain complete, timely clinical documentation
Provide medication education and support transitions of care when needed
Assist with training and support for pharmacy technicians, interns, residents, and new team members
Participate in interdisciplinary care rounds and collaborative clinical decision-making
Follow all applicable state and federal regulations, as well as pharmacy policies and procedures
