Inpatient Acute Care Pharmacist Travel Job - York, PA

Start Date: 10/12/2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 8 hours (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
Schedule: 40 hours per week, with coverage between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM as needed
Weekend Coverage: Every 3rd or 4th Saturday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,740 - $2,940
Floating: May be asked to support another nearby location within the same health system
Time Off: Up to 7 days preferred
Holidays: May be required to work select major holidays
Job Requirements Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in hand
Minimum of 2 years of pharmacist experience, preferably in inpatient pharmacy or outpatient oncology
Experience preparing both hazardous and non-hazardous medications
IV training and IV certification
Experience with EPIC Beacon strongly preferred
Pharmacy-related certifications and credentials such as BLS, BCPS, PharmD, and RPh as applicable
Strong knowledge of clinical dosing, compounding, sterile technique, and medication safety
Ability to work in a tobacco- and fragrance-free environment
COVID-19 and flu vaccination compliance per assignment guidelines
Responsibilities Prepare and verify inpatient medications with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
Support oncology medication workflows, including hazardous drug handling and preparation
Perform IV admixture, IV push, and sterile compounding duties as needed
Apply clinical judgment for dosing support across adult, pediatric, neonatal, geriatric, and adolescent patient populations
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to optimize medication therapy
Use EPIC and related pharmacy systems to document and manage patient care activities
Assist with weekend, holiday, and floating coverage as required by the schedule
Maintain high standards for workflow efficiency, medication safety, and patient-centered care
