Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Travel Job - Level III NICU in Brandon, FL
Travel to Brandon, Florida for a high-acuity Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) opportunity in a Level III NICU. Setting: Hospital-based Level III NICU
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,320 - $1,420
Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays in rotation
Job Requirements Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
Level III NICU experience required; Level II NICU experience with 3-5 years of experience may be considered
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
STABLE certification preferred
Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to work independently
Positive, detail-oriented, and team-focused approach
Responsibilities Provide respiratory care for neonatal patients in a busy 36-bed Level III NICU
Attend high-risk deliveries and deliver respiratory support as needed
Manage mechanical ventilation, including conventional and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation
Assist with surfactant administration and nitric oxide therapy
Perform blood gas acquisition and accurately interpret results
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and neonatal care team members to support safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Work with advanced respiratory technology and documentation systems in a fast-moving clinical environment
