Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights
Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,550-$1,660
Location: Erie, PA 16501
Start Date: ASAP
Job Requirements Current Respiratory Therapist credential and eligibility to practice in the assigned hospital setting
At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
Experience with invasive and non-invasive ventilatory support preferred
BLS certification required; ACLS knowledge preferred
Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of patient care
Responsibilities Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate respiratory treatment plans
Provide routine and intensive respiratory care, including oxygen, aerosol, humidification, and ventilation therapies
Perform chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, capnography, and pulmonary function studies per policy
Assist with respiratory care procedures and support airway management needs
Set up, test, monitor, and maintain ventilatory equipment
Document treatments, assessments, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
Communicate effectively with physicians and team members during handoff and shift-to-shift reporting
Support patient education and discharge teaching related to respiratory care
