Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Requirements At least 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience preferred
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential/license as required for practice
BLS certification required
ACLS knowledge or certification preferred
Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Experience with ventilatory equipment, oxygen therapy, and patient monitoring preferred
Responsibilities Provide intensive respiratory care and patient transport support as medically prescribed
Evaluate patient conditions and recommend appropriate treatment plans
Administer routine respiratory treatments using invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment
Perform chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, and capnography monitoring
Assist with tracheostomy care, arterial punctures, and mechanical ventilation management
Support respiratory procedures such as bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and related care activities
Complete documentation accurately in patient charts and respiratory care records
Communicate treatment progress and patient response with the care team during shift handoff
Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment as needed
