Hospital Security GuardLake Butler Hospital is a critical access hospital in North Florida providing 24-hour emergency services, inpatient hospitalization, swing bed program, rehabilitation services, outpatient laboratory, and outpatient radiology (X-ray, ultrasound, and CT Scan) services to Union County and the surrounding counties. We are devoted to providing all members of our community with premier-quality health care in a compassionate and inviting environment.We are seeking a Hospital Security Guard to join our team! This is a part time role. Candidate will work 2 12-hour shifts.As a Security Guard for Lake Butler Hospital you will be responsible for the monitoring visitor entering and exiting the building, and ensuring the safety of the hospital's property and personnel. You will know all site-specific policies and procedures, and implement emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service.This position is for Friday and Saturday. Variable hours may be available.RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable relevant experiencePossess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective mannerDisplay exceptional customer service and communication skillsAbility to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficientlyAble to: Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heatOccasionally lift or carry up to 40 poundsStand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of timeAs a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
