Job description
MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The role includes patrols, incident reporting, and responding to emergencies in a 24/7 setting.
Ideal candidates have 1–2 years as a Security Officer or 5–7 years of related experience, with a valid state driver’s license and CPR certification within 90 days. Commissioning as SPO in MD or DC is preferred. Training and de-escalation skills are essential.
