Job description
Encompass Health seeks a Hospital Staff Pharmacist to provide safe, accurate medication management for adult rehabilitation patients. In this role, you will verify and dispense prescriptions, manage sterile and non-sterile compounding, and perform clinical medication reviews to optimize therapy and prevent adverse drug events. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and therapists on medication dosing, monitoring, and patient education. Responsibilities include maintaining regulatory compliance, overseeing medication storage and inventory, using EMR and pharmacy systems, precepting staff, and supporting quality, safety, and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives.
