Our Adult Services Program includes five licensed community residences/group homes and two adult learning centers. Matheny Medical and Educational Center currently has a career opportunity availalbe for a Full Time Unit Coordintor . The hours for this position are 8:00am-4:00pm.

Responsibilities of this position include:
* Uses discretion and protects the confidentiality of patient information.
* Performs receptionist duties for the Nursing unit.
* Performs patient admissions, transfers, and discharge procedures.
* Manages all patient charts and reports.
* Performs data entry as required by the Nurse Manager.
* Manages the supplies and equipment on the Nursing unit.
* Possesses knowledge of computers and other office and unit equipment.
* Ensures that office equipment is in good working condition.
* Maintains current and accurate information on the bulletin board.
* Maintains reference books and Policy/Procedure manuals.
* Assists, as directed, during emergency situations. Knows where emergency equipment is located.
* Coordinates patients' medical trips to outside providers.

The salary range for this position is $22 - $25 per hour.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals preferred.
Good interpersonal skills required.
Licensure/Certifications:
Current CPR Level C Certification.
