Overview
Faculty position employed by University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine , practicing in UT Health East Texas facilities. UT Health Henderson is growing and hiring a BC/BE Hospitalist to join the team.
Responsibilities
7 days on and 7 days off, daytime shift
No procedures, no ICU
Average daily census 10-15, 2-3 admissions per day
Night cross‑coverage by APP.
ER runs codes.
Opportunity to pick up extra shifts at regional facilities.
Smart technology using Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe to reduce documentation burden and improve patient flow.
Position Requirements
Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Internal Medicine (ABIM)
Unrestricted Texas Medical License or eligibility to obtain one
