Job description
Hospitalists respond to codes for their own patients
Average daily Census : 284
Average daily admissions : 40 per 24hrs
Average night admissions: 7-9 per Nocturnist + Plus coverage and rapid responses on own patients
MD/DO Staffing per shift:
Day MD/DO rounders - 16
Day MD admissions – 1
Swing MD/DO (1p-1a) -1
Swing MD/DO (3p-3a) -2
Night MD/DO (7p-7a) -2
EMR: EPIC
Cred Timeframe: 60-90 days but can push clean files – no med malp; through very quickly
CA License is required as week as ACLS
