Job Details
Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant sought for a collaborative Advanced Practice team delivering high‑quality inpatient care.
Setting: Inpatient medicine, hospitalist.
Schedule: Full‑time nights with premium differentials and incentives offered.
No call required.
Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients.
Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs in consultation with physicians and care team members, including referrals to specialists.
Provide appropriate treatment for problems within scope of practice and refer outside‑of‑scope issues to a physician as needed.
Practice with significant clinical autonomy and a wide clinical scope in a smaller, community‑focused setting.
Dedicated support through the Office of Advanced Practice for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible).
Certification: Board‑certified or board‑eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care‑certified).
Experience: Minimum 1+ year of Advanced Practice experience in a hospitalist or similar setting required.
Compensation
