Nocturnist Physician – Aberdeen and Bel Air, MD
We have an opportunity for a BE/BC Internal Medicine Nocturnist Physician to join our well-established Hospital Medicine service at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health locations in Bel Air and Aberdeen.
About The Role
Full-service hospitalist practice at University of Maryland (UM) Upper Chesapeake Health locations in Bel Air and Aberdeen
Part of the University of Maryland Medical System
University hospital with excellent specialty support
Average 15 patients/day
Closed ICU, our team is not expected to perform procedures or run codes
Staffing Model: 23 providers; 12 physicians/11 APPs
EMR: EPIC
Beds 257
Trauma Level – Level II
Graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
Responsibilities include admissions unit-based rounding, discharges, and daily multidisciplinary rounds, geographic rounds, participant in rapid response and code team.

Requirements
BE/BC in Internal Medicine
Strong inpatient skill set
Quality-focused team player
Experience working with advanced practice providers
Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
Ability to function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Effective oral and written communication skills
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
Active (state) license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, state Controlled Substance Registration, ACLS
Salary Range: $265,500k - $305,00k
