Make an Impact Where it Matters Most as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner at Community Behavioral Health Center in Fresno, California Deliver patient-centered care that makes a difference. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a skilled team, contribute to clinical excellence, and enjoy opportunities for professional growth – all while serving the Fresno community.
Local Team Collaboration:
Community Behavioral Health Center APPs collaborate with a large team of clinicians within the Community Medical Center system.
Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. Become an integral member of the hospitalist team and community.
Community Medical Centers is affiliated with UCSF Fresno, which offers training to residents and fellows.
Qualifications:
Board-certified/eligible nurse practitioners with acute care certification required.
Active California license preferred.
Experience working as an advanced practice provider in an acute care hospital setting is required.
Ability to work well in a team-based environment, focusing on collaboration and patient-centered care.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
Full- or part-time, day-shift role.
7 on/7 off schedule.
Shifts are 12 hours; 7 am – 7 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient care in a closed ICU environment.
Consulted only on medical issues. Psychiatry is the primary for all patients.
Our patient population is diverse, so we are looking for a nurse practitioner who relishes the challenge of addressing a broad spectrum of patient needs.
Utilize Epic EMR system.

Rewards and Compensation:
Annual compensation of $160,000 - $165,000 + bonuses, based on the number of shifts worked.
Moonlighting premium for additional shifts.
