Job description
We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for Hospitalist coverage in Tennessee. This opportunity offers a mix of day and night shifts in an inpatient setting with no procedures required.

Day and night shifts available
Inpatient medicine service
No procedures required
Schedule
NP/PA Coverage
Day Shift: 10:00 AM 8:00 PM
Night Shift: 8:00 PM 6:00 AM
Flexible scheduling opportunities may be available based on facility needs.
Practice Setting
Inpatient Hospitalist Service
Collaborative physician and APP team model
Work Details
No procedures required
Average service volume: approximately 93 encounters per day across the team
Adult inpatient medicine coverage
Collaborative care environment
Requirements Nurse Practitioners
Graduate of an accredited NP program
Active Tennessee RN and NP license
Tennessee DEA with prescriptive authority
AANP or ANCC certification
ACLS and PALS required
Hospitalist or related inpatient experience preferred
New graduates may be considered based on facility needs
Requirements Physician Assistants
Graduate of an accredited PA program
Active Tennessee PA license
Active DEA with required Tennessee schedules
NCCPA certification
ACLS and PALS required
Hospitalist or related inpatient experience preferred
New graduates may be considered with mentorship/proctorship availability
Additional Requirements
Current immunization documentation
Recent TB screening documentation
Case logs from the past two years
Required CME/CEU documentation
Ability to meet credentialing and privileging requirements
