nWe are hiring for an APP nocturnist hospitalist. Candidates must be comfortable with an open ICU with tele-Intensivist backup.
nLocal Team Collaboration:
nnnJoin our close-knit team of 4 physicians and 4 APPs at Ascension Via Christi Hospital.
n
nnAdmit 5-6 patients and take cross coverage calls on an ADC of 40 patients per day.
n
nnOpen ICU with Tele Intensivist backup.
n
n nQualifications:
nnnBoard-certified NP.
n
nnPrevious hospitalist experience is preferred.
n
nnAuthorized to work in the United States.
n
n nScheduling:
nn12-hour nocturnist shifts, 7-days-on, 7-days-off with flexible scheduling.
n nKey Responsibilities:
nnnSee a wide variety of diseases while still having specialists available in a small community-based hospital.
n
nnWork in coordination with a tele-intensivist, with the specialist handling all procedures and running codes and rapid.
n
nnUtilize Magnetech with Dragon for efficient dictation and access to our internal informatics platform for streamlined workflow and communication.
n
nnManage patients from admission to discharge.
