Position Details:
Manchester Memorial Hospital is seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a close-knit, collaborative team! This Advanced Practice group works cohesively to deliver high-quality inpatient care and is excited to welcome a new provider as we continue to grow and expand. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice in a smaller community-focused setting while maintaining a wide clinical scope and autonomy with room for your professional growth!

Location : 71 Haynes Street, Manchester, 06040
Setting : Inpatient medicine, hospitalist
Schedule: Full-time days. Premium differentials and incentives offered .

Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistants Role Scope:
Under established guidelines and in collaboration and/or supervision with the practice physician(s), Advanced Practitioners perform routine physical examinations, and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients.
In consultation with the physician(s) and care team members, Advanced Practitioners develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, e.g., referral to other health team members or specialists.
Advanced Practitioners provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the provider’s practice as designated by protocols and identifies problems outside of their scope of practice and refers appropriately to physician.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Licensure : Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
Training : Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care-certified)
Experience : 1+ year's Advanced Practice experience in a hospitalist or similar setting

This is a salaried position. While compensation is presented as an hourly rate for consistency across our postings, this position is paid on a salary basis. The hiring range reflects a good faith estimate of pay for this position as of the posting date. Actual pay will be determined based on qualifications, location, internal equity, and other factors that may include hire bonuses, incentive pay plans, loan repayment, administrative stipends, or relocation.
