Locums - Brattleboro, Vermont, NP/PA Hospitalist Openings
Clinical Role
Coverage begins December 2026Ongoing need with no current end date for the right candidateDaytime Hospitalist APP coverage100% inpatient/hospital-basedAdult inpatient and observation populationApproximately 8-10 patients per day Schedule & Coverage
Monday-Friday9:00 am-6:00 pmProvider remains onsite throughout the shiftNo call Practice Setting & Clinical Expectations
Community hospital settingObservation, inpatient floor, and intermediate-level careRespond to codes and rapid responsesManage step-down level patientsAbility to stabilize critically ill patients and arrange transport to a tertiary care facilityVentilator management experience preferredNo teaching or leadership responsibilities Support & Systems
Supportive nursing staffCollaborative relationships with Emergency Medicine and surgical teamsCase management support for patient dischargeOvernight Hospitalist physician coverageCerner CommunityWorks EMRAI scribe support Requirements & Credentialing
NP or PA with adult inpatient/hospitalist medicine experience2-3 years of Hospitalist experience preferredAcute Care APRN and applicable certifications required for Nurse PractitionersActive Vermont license or willingness to obtain required What's great about Brattleboro, Vermont?
