NP/PA Nocturnist opening in Oneonta, NYLocated in Oneonta, NY - Albany 85m; Syracuse 95mFull-time; PermanentEmployed Overview: Nocturnist Hospitalist opportunity within an established inpatient team Join a collaborative group of Hospitalist physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians Block schedule with approximately 155 shifts annually Typical schedule: 7 on / 7 off Night shift hours: 8:00pm - 8:00am Responsibilities include admissions from the Emergency Department and surrounding hospitals, cross-coverage of inpatients, and transfer call management Attend codes and rapid responses with support from in-house 24/7 Emergency Medicine physicians Telephone backup available from Hospitalist physicians Opportunity for additional premium-rate shifts Procedural skills preferred but not required EMR: Epic Ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced inpatient environment Comp/Benefits: Competitive salary range: $150,000 - $180,000 Sign-on bonus up to $50,000 Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability coverage Paid malpractice coverage Retirement plan CME allowance up to $2,000 annually Relocation assistance up to $5,000 Paid New York license and DEA renewals Group/Facility Info: Integrated academic healthcare network affiliated with a major university system Community hospital setting with 53 medical/surgical beds Strong specialty support including Cardiology, General Surgery, Infectious Disease, Pulmonary, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Palliative Care, and Neurology Collaborative inpatient care environment Expanding telemedicine support services across the network About the Area:Oneonta, New York is a scenic community located in Central New York surrounded by rolling hills, lakes, and outdoor recreation opportunities.
