Job description
A rural, community-focused hospital 40 miles north of Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for multiple Hospitalist opportunities.
Position Highlights:
Full-time APP Hospitalist opportunities
7-on, 7-off schedule
Choose between 12-hour day shifts or 7:00 PM 7:00 AM night shifts
Provide direct inpatient care to adult patients ages 18+
Average patient volume: 17 per day
EMR: Meditech
Other providers available: ED, Respiratory Therapy, Med/Surg nursing staff
Manage acute and chronic conditions, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
Provide internal medicine consultations
Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and safety initiatives
Maintain current knowledge through continuing education and training
Utilize CPT/ICD-10 coding
Practice in a 60+bed rural community hospital

Required certification: DEA, CRNP or NCCPA
