Hospital medicine with a team that has your back, at a company that is just getting started. A brand new, independent, physician led company, private equity backed, is building its hospitalist program in Bradenton and Manatee County, and wants physicians who practice with judgment and calm.
The opportunity
A brand new, independent company with serious private equity backingValue based care for a primarily geriatric population, with a reasonable census and a team that trusts each otherState of the art support behind the bedsideBradenton and Manatee County, in hospital and skilled nursing facility settingsFull time, with real time off protected
What you will do
Serve as the physician of record for patients admitted to your serviceComplete admission workups, examine, diagnose, and treat across acute and complex conditionsOrder and evaluate diagnostics and perform common bedside procedures as neededRound at hospitals and skilled nursing facilities and coordinate specialistsLead safe discharges and transitions, and support the advanced practice clinicians on the team
What you will bring
MD or DO with residency in Internal Medicine or Family MedicineActive, unrestricted Florida license, or eligibility to obtain oneBoard certified or board eligible with certification within two years of joining, recent graduates welcomeStrong inpatient management skills, a valid Florida driver license and reliable transportation, Spanish a plus
